Printed information is one of the easiest and most familiar methods for increasing awareness of an issue. Printed material aims to to inform in words and drawings about an issue. It can provide a short overview about an issue or to give background information in various forms such as fact sheets, newsletters, brochures, issue papers, progress reports or direct mail letters. All this printed information can be easily handed out, dropped into letterboxes, distributed by mail, or mailed out with other material and can be easily carried away.
